Consultation

The staff members of Associates in Therapy and Assessment are available to provide consultation to agencies and schools as well as to medical and legal practitioners on a variety of mental health, developmental, and systemic concerns.

Among the areas in which our clinicians have previously shared their expertise with educators, medical, and legal practitioners are parenting adolescent children, parenting school-age children, parenting concerns with infants and toddlers, parenting in adoptive families, psychological evaluation review and explanation, managing children with ADD/ADHD in school, the nature and impact of postpartum depression, normal and problematic sexual development and behavior in children and adolescents, managing college life, marriage and intimacy, the impact of sexual abuse and trauma on survivors, implementing social skills programs in school, the impact of depression in parents on children, ADD/ADHD in Adulthood, the impact of divorce on children, modulating risk and managing suicide potential.
